Heather, brings three decades of veterinary experience to our team, driven by a lifelong passion for preventing and treating illness and injury in pets. Her extensive career has been marked by a deep commitment to animal health and a genuine satisfaction in making a positive impact on the lives of pets and their families.

Originally from Illinois, Heather now enjoys life in a charming small town outside of Des Moines. Outside of her professional life, Heather is a dedicated mother, actively supporting her daughter’s horse riding activities. Her own home is a lively haven, shared with her husband, son, daughter and a menagerie of beloved pets, including two dogs, two cats, two turtles, and a horse named Pixie.

In her spare time, Heather finds joy in playing with her pets and indulging in her love for scrapbooking, capturing memories and moments of her family’s adventures. Her wealth of experience and genuine affection for animals make Heather a treasured member of our team, committed to enhancing the lives of our furry and feathered friends.
