Dr. Lee Holmes: Dr. Leroy “Lee” Holmes grew up on an acreage south of Griswold, Iowa. He is a 1975 graduate of Iowa State University. Dr. Holmes has a special interest in orthopedic surgery. He has owned Hubbell Animal Hospital since 1981 and Altoona Veterinary Hospital since 1984. Dr. Holmes is married to Roberta and has one daughter, Heather. They are the very proud grandparents of Stella and Hazel. Dr. Holmes and Roberta share their household with their 2 cats Kojak and Omar and their Golden Retriever, Ike.
Since graduating from Iowa State University in 1988 Dr. Lagan has been practicing companion animal medicine. Her husband, Gregg, is a public relations specialist for Mercy Medical Center. They live in Des Moines with their children Gregory and Marjorie, and enjoy their French bulldogs, cats, and horse. Outside of work, Dr. Lagan enjoys spending time with her family, baseball, knitting, and competing in dog shows.
Since graduating from Iowa State University in 2002, Dr. Cheri Aldrich as been focused on companion animal medicine. She began her employment at Hubbell Animal Hospital in February, 2006. Dr. Aldrich spends most of her free time enjoying life on the farm with her husband, Lance. Together they have spent many hours making improvements on their acreage. She has many stories to tell about her fuzzy and feathered family which includes two cats, Rudy and Olive; 3 horses, Randy, Cody, and Alex; and a small flock of Bantum chickens.
